Yeah, they pretty much just rule. Their music is timeless. I don't listen to them very often (any more) but when I do, I love it.

PF is probably my all time favorite band. Actually their greatest album ever was Final Cut, the last album that Roger Waters recorded with them and interestingly the album that should have been released as a Roger Waters solo album because he did most of the work on it. Final cut is based on a series of poems that Waters wrote over the years trying to figure out why the British govt hadn't done a damn thing for his family despite his father being a Air force pilot who got shot down over Astaria. Waters never saw his father, he was 2 months old when he was killed and you can see the pain he's been through in almost every song he wrote.

delicate sound of thunder is the best
i havent heared any other group that sounds so good live

me an my friends are gonna check out roger waters next time he comes to town
