I have a nice dual bandpass box with 2 twelve inch MTX 8000 subs... but I can't get it into the back of my prelude

so it's in the bedroom with clothes and pillows piled on it

not center of trunk, but centered of spare tire well its 'glassed in

had it done for awile now, but still haven't finished it....plan to do plexi covers over the amps & a metal grill over the sub & ports to keep shit off them & then a panel to cover it all so when you open the trunk you'll see nothin...it'll look completly stock (except 3" higher) :fawk:

had a few people PM me before asking why the front is shaped like it is. the reason if you look @ the second pic is i notched it so i could still have access to the fuel pump w/out having to take the whole damn thing out

^ hahaha

I like a tight, cohesive, reasonably forceful bass on my old De La Soul and Tribe mix CDs, but for Miles Davis or Count Basie, I put more emphasis on how the whole musical range is detailed, clear and balanced.... so it depends a little.

That's why I chose the Infinity BassLink.
IMO, for the price, it rocks. :bigok:

Reminds me of my good friend Pete from HS. His immaculately restored burgundy 68 VW Microbus had 3 JL Audio 18" (!!) powered with a total of 2.5Kw worth of Alpine amps. That thing was nuts. They were mounted in a triple bandpass box with ports about 4 inches in diameter. With the motor off, they would flatten the Optima battery in about ten minutes.
