do u know how to open up the front doors panel of this car??
ill help my friend install some speakers in his car later today...but ive never open up this car b4....

we installed an alpine HU in his car b4...and i tell ya...its a biotch fitting everything in that lil slot

 

yeah the stereo install was a bitch on tonys car too :chuckles:

they door panels should only be fastened with like 2 screws maybe even one. I know one on the inside door handle/armrest area.

make sure you disconnect the battery before doing this! the doors have side impact airbag and the roof has head protection airbags.

btw...do i just start prying the panel out after i unscrewed the screws??
do i start from the bottom side??

 

start from the bottom.

I can warn you that removing the panel is the easy part

putting it back on is a major bitch. do one side at a time so you can see how everything is supposed to line up.

the panel should be removed bottom up, then replaced top down.

getting the top to line up is the major bitch part.

btw...that tweeter they put in the rear doors are freaking annoying...
totally destroy the imaging....
