^ :werd: Then I guess it's common sense to drive with your cc on in the rain, and uncommon sense to know not to.

I'm implying that perhaps the general stupidty of people has become common sense.. while those who know better... now fall among uncommon sense.

Play on words. Chill.

i use cruise just because its there...

but anyway... i never thought about using it in the rain, because it doesnt rain here... to tell you the truth... ive driven in the rain, maybe 3 times this year. And it only lasts about max 10 mins.

Driving 1600 miles round trip to Florida early this summer, I used my cruise a total of about 20-30 miles.

I just don't trust a car to control its own throttle.

I don't trust myself to stay awake when the car is driving itself, either.

Never heard of such a thing. sounds like BS to me. the car dont know if the road is wet or not.the cruise control is set by vacume pressuer not by tires on the road.
