i had the MBs nick done last weekend for $49. it made it a little smaller but it's still there.

the main thing is the crack will not expand and get bigger
ok. cool. i dont mind the nick, i just dont want it to start growing.

make sure to get it filled and repaired asap. at 70mph, it'll only get worse. i don't think you'll need to get a whole new windshield if you fix it right away.

its not in my direct line of vision. its on the passenger side, right behind where the visor would be if it was down.
No, it will not affect your rates most likely. In fact, most insurance companies will fix it for free even if you have a high deductable.(Bypass the deductable) It's cheaper for them to fix a windshield then to replace it. If you don't have comprehensive on your insurance, then of course you are not covered, but your insurance can give you an idea of where to take it. Like stated above, if they can fix it, and you have to pay out of pocket, it's only like $30-$50.

wow, everyone told me it would be like $100 to have mine fixed. i have a round chip about 3/4 the size of a dime. it really pisses me off cuz its right at my right eye when i drive.

no inpsection here though, so fill it i will. my friend said they have some injection shit they do now and you cant even see where it was filled.
