EXACTLY! And so are the fawking carpool lanes. They are completely wasted in Marin County, used only by a handful of GGT buses, the Marin Airporter, and scofflaws

that's why i hate the carpool lanes in california. arizona carpool lanes make so much more sense. only from 6-9am and 3-6pm or something, and you can always get in and out of them, no waiting for the double yellow to go away. ca is retarded.

In Marin County, there are no double yellow boundary lines on US101, but the CHP patrols the fawk out of the lanes throughout the county, ready to nail scofflaws from overpasses by portable photo-radar. :upset: At $271 minimum per violation, it's the biggest fawking cash-cow in years, this side of the DUI patrols (which I wholly endorse BTW).

So the liklihood of diamond lanes dissapearing here anytime soon is virtually nonexistant.
