Rip DVD files to your computer and convert them to a WinMedia file or DIVX file?

Anyonne got any info on how to go about this?

i think he just record them as mpegs then use divx software to convert them... gotta find a video recorder or some ish

my brother takes rented dvds and turns them inito 2 vcds

Yeah I know I'm a smart ass... go to www.downloads.com they usually have a lot of DVD ripper softwares.

Where do I find the DIVX encoding ware??

I have DLd so many "DIVX encoders" and none of them encode they just decode

vcdhelp.com

i used to do it...but now i know there are shortcuts doing it...so its not too timeconsuming...
vcdhelp.com should have the newer programs for u

BTDT they don't offer the encoding device....at least everytime I looked I just got the player and decoder.

Anyways I found what I needed on Kazaa finally just needed the names of some software to do the search

Besides this is just so I can make "backups" of my movie collection which is perfectly legal and within my rights to do so
