They got wireless in school meng?

 

My school pretty much tries to keep the wireless signals away from classrooms to prevent this sort of thing. Sometimes I can grap a faint bit of signal but for some reason this semester the campus WLAN refuses to work with my computer even though my own WLAN at my apartment works just fine.

 

our wireless is new for this year and free, they put it up only in academic buildings


the wireless speed is just about the same as my wired dorm room'd speed : 1500+kbps d/l, 3000+kbps u/l

 

Every college's wireless network is free--all they do is add WAPs to the prexisting campus network to let you log in from various places.

 

^^^ahhh, they say on the website tho that charges may start next year or semester and they'll notify me if it does:scary:
