R6's are sweet too, especially now with the cool financing. Jkan said he's lookin' to get an R6 with the 3.9%.
Only problem with Yamaha with me is that my piano has the same name and i'd rather support HONDUH!

600 RR > > > R6.
Get some frame sliders...a good leather jacket, good gloves, and an awesome helmet...maybe some riding boots too. I would take a beginning riding class if they offer them. Good luck, have fun, dont kill yourself

If you can afford it, take a riding class through Harley-Davidson. They teach you on the Buells, so it's sport-bike based (opinions on the sportiness of Buells aside), and the classes are typically taught by very proficient Harley riders. I really enjoyed mine.

600RR has the most uncomfortable seat i've ever sat on
i'm waiting on some money a relative left me & i'm gonna get a bike.
the local honda dealer has a 954rr that's a 2002 new w/ no miles for $8500 (2003 is $10300)
either that or i'm gonna buy everything & build me a harley chopper
