what are you trying to do with mirc? talk to some people, ie looking for help with a certain subject? or trying to download masses of pirated software?

god... I used to do so much with mIRC... back before it got all complicated and stuff... been using it since version 4.5... but it's been so long that I couldn't tell you how to do much of anything other than fill in the blanks in the connect box...

and /server blah changes servers...

/j <channel name> really means /join # $+ $$1

I was wondering how you find out how you identify yourself in the beginning? My cousin gave me a command to type in when you first start the program...

/msg nickserv identify *insert password*
