I've had my Reference 414S for about a year now, no issues whatsoever. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that there is a switch to select bridged, stereo, mixed mono, but it's on the bottom of the amp But that's it, performance wise, no issues at all. It pushes my 6x9's effortlessly.

I like their SPL and Exact subs too, very good stuff.

when i was doing stereo's i had 2 soundstream amps.

i wanna say one was the 10002 and the other was a 404...

i managed to blow the 1000s up twice, but i also melted a rockford fosgate amp, so i think the problem may of been my wiring
damn, that's a few pretty expensive mistakes there. Good thing you aren't into stereo's anymore

Eh. My car stereo shop covered it all under warranty.

It wasn't the wiring. I think I just couldn't supply a lot enough clean juice for the amps.

i wanna say I was running 500 watts rms to each 15. and 400 watts rms to the front stage.

i think the amp was 414 or 404. can't remember. it was a while back...

either way. i miss my stereo

I loved it .... I have a Reference 405 amp,... kicked a$$. Great products, but if you're going to buy it, have it installed by someone who knows their sh!t.
