Now at least I'm clean. Time to head to Chipotle for some tacos and then go searching for a hair trimmer since a couple of tines broke off mine. Although I should just order that online.
So I went to Chipotle and got them tacos like I was talking about. Then I went across the street to The Den to get a t-shirt and see if this girl that works there was behind the counter. I got a cool shirt, and she was there. Then it was off towards the capital to go to the "real" Walgreen's instead of the crappy one that's closer to campus but doesn't even have an actual pharmacy.
When I got there I ran into the Taste of Madison festival thing which is a Labor Day deal where all the restaurants here set up tents around the capital square and a few radio stations put on stages with assorted bands. All the music is free. The kind of "adult contemporary soul" radio station here had War (the guys that sing Lowrider and Why Can't We Be Friends) on stage which was pretty money. I went to Walgreen's, got the clipper, and listened to War for a while.
There were lots of old Wisconsin people drinking plastic cups of beer and trying to freak dance each other which was a bit scary but sort of entertaining in a trainwreck sort of way. War got done and now I'm back home for a while to chill and see if I can find a website with a schedule for the rest of the evening's acts.
Looks like I managed to kill about 2 and a half hours, so I can't complain.
