As it is said Above. Honda (as with every car company) has its good points and its bad. But I would have to say that since they are ALWAYS among the top 5 for the major "car & Driver" type people, then they must be doing something right.
Another thing is that Honda's hold their value. When you drive a Ford off the lot. it drops in value almost half. When you drive a Honda off the lot. you can turn around and seel it for damn close to what you paid for it.
Put that little "H" on anything and it will seel (as long as the quality behind the "H" goes into the product.)
Ok, guess that was confusing enought.
In short. Honda's may have up's and down's but their Up's ALWAYS over ride the Down's.
You also have to understand that a company like Honda can not make ALL their cars to be "race cars" They have to keep it economical. The average person would rather pay a cheap price for a slow reliable car, then to pay expensive for a fast reliable car. All they want is to get to and from work, school, the store, ect. THey dont care if they get tehre in 5 mins or 20mins.
I think that Honda has done a great job with keeping their cars (and other products) within a economical price range and keeping the quality they started out with.
