Since its just a new cam that gives 10hp, couldnt the 530i take the new camshaft...:rick:

technically probably but that's a really expensive way of getting 10hp


you could go schrick and gain 20hp :rick: or more

And here's Car & Driver's test drive results.

Basic rundown in performance:

Power (SAE Net): 235HP @ 5900RPM
Torque (SAE Net): 222 lb.-ft. @ 3500rpm

Transmission: 6-speed manual (Final drive ratio shortened from 2.93 to 3.07)
Curb Weight: 3370 pounds

0-60 in 5.6 seconds
Top speed: 152mph
1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds @ 97mph

Roadhandling: 0.86g

And the best part - Fuel Economy: 21mpg highway/20mpg city

My wife drives a '03 TL Type S which we've had for a couple of months (3-month lease) that replaced our '01 3.2TL.

I have the '97 NSX-T of which I hope to sell in the Spring, hopefully for a newer one. :happysad:

And I have my 1987 Toyota truck that's rusty and doesnt' run. :thumbup:
