your speaking my language. that voodoo owns, i used to have a voodoo 5 too. cost me too bills, then i installed win xp and everything went to sh*t. i couldnt find a fully compatable driver. it would run great and then freeze*bluescreenofdeath*restart* then dump my mouse driver. ;_;

but i still miss it

Half-Life played just fine with my old Geforce2 MX400 64MB card.
If you want to play Half-Life 2 with all the visual effects turned up, you're gonna need to buy a card with DirectX 9 support.
You can supposedly play it with cheaper cards, but it'll basically look like Half-Life.

:dunno: a while back i heard that AMD and nvidia had a deal to build their products to work together.. that's about it...
