so i got charged with alchohol possesion underaged about 2 months ago

went to court today....and no liscence and community servicee for 6 months

dont worry, i was riding with a sober person and my car was nowhere near the area...but apparently here in chesterfeild county there is a law that says any charge with alchohol to a person underaged = 6 months no liscence


so the one thing that kept me from drinking more is now gone...the one thing i love....


im not challenging my punishment...just greiving

so the driver was of age and the car just happen to have alcohol in it? or were you both under age? i'm surprised the cop didn't just make you pour it out and cut you guys some slack. so does this go as a misdemeanor on your record? sorry to hear your a pedestrain for the next 6 months

 

well take it ez for the next 6 months. Do you need your car to get around? That is probably the hardest part of the suspension.

 

yes i need my car to go newhere..even the neighbors

we didnt get pulled over..it was at a friends house....so it had nothing to do with cars

its just a new law....

 

Sorry to hear that man. Although you should know that you shouldn't drink when your underage. I don't mean to be a dick but you deserve what you got. In my opinion you got off pretty easy from others I know who have gotten caught with possesion.

 

Well, you don't "need" a license to drive. I've known a few people who drove w/o it. If your town is small though, that makes it tough. Maybe you can ask a judge to give you limited privliges (sp) so you can at least get to work since you weren't actually driving.

 

Just drink more and forget about it.
