Escort Solo S2 Radar detector su(k.....
yup.. I ordered one off their site for $329 and it came with a 30day money back...
It's cordless and power by 2 AA battery..
I had it for 2weeks and end up returning it..It didnt worth the $hit.. I spotted the cop with the radar before the radar detector went off....
Any one eles had problems with their radar detector? I'm planning on getting another one of a different brand..any suggestion?

I'm asking because sometimes I'll drive by a cop car and my radar detector wouldn't go off, but sometimes it does..

The purpose of radar detectors are to detect the radar while its bouncing off traffic ahead of you. If you are the only one on the road and the detector goes off, you're already caught. Peeps confuse that.

No a days Cops have point and shoot lasers. Radar detectors can't detect lasers. And there is no signal until the cop pulls the trigger so by then its already too late. Good driving and common sense will go a lot farther than just relying on a machine to look out for you.

idk guys, whenever ive ridden with my friend that has the v1, it always goes off, and then a few sec later, theres a cop. only time he was pulled over was by an undercover cop and that wasnt for speeding. i wouldnt get anything other than a v1 but i use my eyes as of now and they have served me ok.
