redgoober4life 08-26-2003 09:49 PM

Looks like the car itself held up ok, the passenger compartment that is.

AcuraFanatic 08-26-2003 10:29 PM

Ouch. I'm glad he's okay.

One more SE-R off the road. :joshers:

azn_redneck 08-26-2003 11:11 PM

Looks like the crumple zones did their job. As long as no one got hurt, it's all good (sucks that the car is smashed up of course, but it's only car).

veen 08-26-2003 11:30 PM

:eek3: thats amazing
does he have any plans for a next car?

oh god, the entire rear is fawked. oh well, at least the rims are intact .

NoRiCeHeRe 08-27-2003 07:22 AM

The one thing I learned from when my car was totalled is take everything you can that's valuable off before your insurance company takes it to the impound. I left 2 brand new snow tire's on and my alloy rim's at the time. I should have put it on blocks and stripped it.

I hope he gets feeling better, wreckes are the worst.

the woman wuz crazy and made her driver sit in the right seat cuz he wuz late in picking her up. after the crash, instead of asking him if he wuz alright, she blamed my friend for stopping there (traffic wuz at a standstill), then she blamed the driver for the crash (he wasnt driving), then she blamed the cop that wuz there (wdf?!)

crazy bishes out in the world...

b00gers 08-27-2003 02:39 PM

glad your friend is ok, kinda. it could have been worse.

that woman sounds like an idiot that needs to take another drivers test.

more like needs to have her license taken away for good!

TheOtherDave™ 08-27-2003 03:32 PM

^ Amen to that. Glad to hear your friend survived. :(

And props to Nissan engineers for developing such a strong chassis. It's pretty impressive that such a light car could take that much force and not have a single window shatter.
:happysad:

Sorry for the loss of a car too. I know it hurts. :(

Best wishes; hope things turn out OK.

tommyboy 08-27-2003 03:44 PM

is the 745il alright?? jk..
