ive had gray hair since i was 5. My head is covered in grays, making there way to the front... its not gray as in you immediately can tell... u can only tell if i dont have some kind of gel or hair spray in it... they are clear hairs, not gray.

I had some grey hair when I was in middle school. 
But.. they fell out.. and... never grew back all through HS. But.. my senoir year I startded bleaching my hair... and for the most part it's been dyed ever since.
