the excuse i heard was from the eastcoast power failure...some shit about not being able to transfer gas over here or some shit...

 

NO NO, there are two pipelines going into Arizona. I live in arizona. Well as the story goes, the pipeline coming in from texas had safety issues so was shutdown about a week and a half to 2 weeks ago. There was a gas shortage in Arizona, mainly the Phoenix, Tucson, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and mEsa Area. Since arizona uses oxidated fuel, we can only get from texas and cali. Since texas is outta the picture for repairs, our main fuel supply comes from cali. Thus causing cali's price to go up a bit. But its much worst in AZ for the past two weeks. 2.39 per gallon, thats just the 87 octane. There were long lines at the gas station, and many were just plain close because they were out of gas. I didn't know what happen, but the second week of school, i drove to the gas station, the damn line was little over half a block long. I ended up paying 2.20 per gallon so i only fill halfway. I was also late for school. There were a few people who couldnt make it to work where i work because they couldnt get gas..

 

those excuses doesn't make sense for CA since CA doesn't get any of it's gas from outside of CA... :squint:

yea!! i about fell the hell over the other day....i was filling mine up w/ 87 and i got to $15 and still wasnt full! i was like WTF!!! $11 usually filled me. $15.05 didnt! $1.87 for 87
