Last night i got pulled over by the CHP...he got me for going 76 in a 55. h: That ticket's gonna be a nice little fine i'm sure...not to mention how exciting traffic school will be.

 

....traffic school on your first ticket?

 

i don't know about CA, but in TN if you goto court & plead guilty & ask for traffic schol, you don't have to pay court costs or the fine. you just pay for the traffic school (like $50 i think), & after you go they drop the citation & it doesn't go on your record (at least not the one the ins. co. sees). you can only do this once every 12 months though.

i got a ticket a few months ago for 88 in a 70. i went to court & was gonna pled guilty & ask for traffic school, but the officer was out sick so they had to drop the charge

 

Yea..i have to take traffic school dont I so that it doesn't go on my record.

 

damn my ass would be in traffic school all the time....well every 12 months....if i could drive :-/

 

Just happened to me 3 months ago.......I live in SD........

You'll get a notice in the mail....If you can go to traffic school...(since it's your first you should be able to)......Go to www.trafficschoolonline.com and it will take you like 30 minutes.....you just have to take the final at a Kinko's or something.........

And you don't have to wait for your court date. Just go to the court and check in......on any day before your court date........Sit for a while till called...plead guilty...and you'll be taking traffic school.........He'll say pay your fine and you are eligible for traffic school and to bring a certificate of completion to the court by a certain date.......Then you go the the bail office and wait to pay your fine and your done......

You just have to bring the traffic school certificate back to the court.....And just turn it in...:thumbup:


I got pulled over going.....115mph in a 65mph freeway....

The cop was cool and wrote that I was going 95mph so he wouldn't have to arrest me and impound my car...:naughty: ....I was stoked...

I still argued in court and got the speed reduced to 85mph so I was eligible for traffic school.... .....

Since anything over 25mph is wreckless driving and you are not eligible for traffic school.......

My bail was not reduced though......for 95mph in 65mph my ticket was $385 isn't that nice....

As long as I didn't get another point on my license I didn't car how much it was.....

PS: you can't take traffic school within 18 months of each other.......so slow down or the next time you'll get a point on the license......:thumbup: ...

my friend used it twice once was for over 100mph and he got off both times.

also even if you lose, you can still goto traffic school so no loss there

Yes they can...here in SD.....over 100mph....is reckless driving.....

I know.....

I was sober and in my work shirt.....I told him I wanted to get home quick after work....Because it was Friday....

He was cool......Because I answered all of his questions and didn't act like an ass......They hate that..
