An N/A auto is going to lose a drag race to a glacier. If the motor is old & / or toast, do the 1JZ-GTE swap along with a built auto or preferably the 5-speed manual. Then crack open the HKS catalog and get to work. They're heavy fawkers though. Think of them as Grand Tourer, capable of good speed, respectable handling, but not the flingable car a S13 or turbo MX-5 would be..

The 1JZ-GTE was a 2.5-liter inline six with twin turbos that made "276 ps" like every other Japanese-market car that's over the limit. Any turbo Supra you buy is going to weigh about 3500 lbs regardless of if it's a Mk3 or Mk4, and if it's an n/a auto it's slow as ****.
