Default Amp heat?!?!

I was on the freeway today for about an hour and a half and my amp turned off twice (stupid heat :madfawk: ).What is it that you guys do to keep your amp from getting too hot and shutting down?

when it's hot, i pull down my back seat to get some air flow over it, and that usually helps. otherwise, you could rig a 12v fan to blow on it.

just get a dryer hose from homedepot and then turn on the A/C

clip one end of the dryer hose to the passenger side A/C duct then the other side to the amp.

Noopy does it that way :rick:

ask around. there are brands out their that are dope but most people have never heard of. rainbow, arc? and i bet there are lots that i have never heard of. car audio is more than kenwood, pioneer, and alpine. h:

PPI stand for precision power instruments...maybe that will ring a bell? i havent heard much from this company since they merged with that bigger company...

that would work. get a computer fan, they are 12v. rig it to the ground wire and ignition wire. some amps may pick up interference but it should work.

itll be easier to hook it up to a relay with the remote wire for the amp. that way you dont have to run another wire from the front all the way to the back.

but not all people know how to wire relays...including me :exnbp:
