annoying message pop ups on XP

annoying message pop ups on XP

How can you stop them? If a message pops up while i am playing PC games, the window screen will jump out. what can i do?

I wish I remember how to do this, but i think there's a way to disable them in control panels under administrative controls.

I'd do a google search for "windows messenger pop-up," as this info's on the 'net.

Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services> Locate messenger and double click>General - Start-up type either manual or disable and stop activity>Log-on Profile1 disable.
