Anyone from South Carolina? I'll be there for the next year and a half and I need friends. I'm going to be there for school for the Navy, and I know aboutt 95% of the nukes aren't much for "social enjoyment."

Any help would be appreciated.

i know a good bar you can go to. i used to hang out and knew the owner pretty well (dated a bartender that used to work there). you might find one or two nukes that aren't bad.

 

heh... I'd love to go to a bar, but I'm the ripe old age of 19... maybe I'll be 21 by the time I get out of prototype, lol.


BTW, what do they do with E-4 MM's that are in a 4 month hold until propulsion school starts? I graduate A-school in December, and don't start school again until April. Is there any possibility of me going to a ship TAD from NNPTU?

 

you can go there and tell them you know me. maybe get a drink or 2. i actually bartended a little bit and i was only 19. i had my 20th birthday there and everyone thought i turned 22 (because they all thought i was 21 before that).

about the break, you'll probably have to work someone (in the mail room or something). i was pretty lucky because i went from one school to another without a big long break so i didn't have to do extra work.

 

i live in spartanburg, sc but thats like 3 hours away from charleston
