Tucker also put one in his cars back in 1948.

Also used quite prominently in motorcycles (Honda Gold Wing and Valkyrie)

I'm actually considering a 2012 Impreza Sport Premium. Thanks, employer, for the supplier discount....

No wiki needed. "Tucker - The Man and His Dream" is one of my favorite movies and I've been around Gold Wings for years. The Valkyrie engine was from the GL1500 (Gold Wing).

I was thinking more of ones they make now. Do they still make the subie flat 6?

My uncle inherited a nice black corvair convertible, from his wife's aunt or something. She had bought it new, garage kept, did not drive it much, total time capsule car, arrow straight body, she had put leather upholstery in it, two tone red and black. The flew out to California, picked it up, washed it and went on a road trip. Started in San Bernadino, drove up the coast, and stopped off at the folk's house for a couple days, went to SF and Tahoe, Yosemite, Yellowstone and back to Nebraska. Second air cooled car I ever saw, first being a bug with the sportomatic.

I never saw a gold wing motorbike up close, or a Tucker in real life. have a coffee table book with one though
Tucker was a helicopter motor as I recall,
