Norton Ghost Question
if i want to ghost an 80 gig hard drive, do i need an 80gig partition or just one larger than the total amount of data on the drive. i have norton ghost 2003.
my new dell has an 80 gig & i want to ghost it regularly so if i get a virus or it crashes, i can recover it quickly. i just bought a new 160gig that i'll be adding as a slave drive.
thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure you'll only need enough space for the data. (less if you're using compression). Unless you're using like BeOS or something else that Ghost can't read the individual files, then it dumps the whole partition.
