hello from vancouver
i gave my sister my old ukulele so she could learn too. had to re-string it for leftie :eek3:
i want another one, concert size this time. it's a neat little instrument that i can take anywhere, unlike my bass and guitar. well the guitar maybe, but i don't have a case for it.

Hey man, congrats on making the move. I'd love to go see Vancouver sometime as well. How ya liking the weather? Did we discuss who you worked for / what you do in your last thread?
Glad you are enjoying it. Wife and I had a great time there when we visited last summer, it's a really beautiful city and area. I was also amazed by the awesome and awesomely cheap sushi we had at some hole-in-the-wall on Commercial Drive.

it's hard to tell when is a good time to go. we bought our tickets in a package with a bus ride there and back. because it was in advance, we had no idea what the conditions were going to be like. it rained while we were there. :/
it's cold and it rains a lot. not so bad the past couple days though. it has been sunny. today the temp is supposed to be in the double digit celsius range. everyone is happy. i work at digital domain now, doing visual effects for a movie. i might get extended and rolled onto the next film after this one.
