Don't forget the issues of liability... very few people will accept the responsibility to store a car in thier personal garage because they don't want the risk of having the car stolen and needing to claim it on thier homeowner's insurance.. which will cause an increase on thier premiums.. I doubt anyone would really do it for a complete stranger... At the most, I've let my bestfriend park his old civic hatchback in one of the parking spaces at my house, but he also had an alarm, and I've known him 17yrs, etc..
