All I can say is.....

UPDATE YOUR GOD DAMN PC AND GET A FIREWALL

Dammit....I swear....I've been so frustrated at work it's not even funny. 3 years ago I didn't know dick about computers.....in fact to this very day I don't know it all and I don't act like I know it all, but I know at least to protect my computer and update my system weekly.

A lot of people are blaming this shiat on MS....um....hello!!!!! They had a fix for this shiat 3 fucking weeks ago. I know Windows isn't perfect, but I am sorry if no one is going to hold your hand every damn day.....

OH, and yes I work for an ISP.....I am just mad because people yell at me and blame shiat on me or my company because we couldn't stop or prevent this from happening

What's next? People will blame doctors because they fucked without a condom and got pregnant or STD's???

OK....end rant.....sorry....I've been really stressed for a week or so....

:werd:, especially when you can download ZoneAlarm for free. Hell, XP has one built-in, and it definitely would have protected an XP user from this worm

the built-in XP firewall gets an "All-Stealth" status on all ports including 135, when checked at grc.com  ZoneAlarm is still better, since you can use it to control which programs access the 'net, and protects your computer on the LAN too
