southwest, is usually always cheap. Sleep or join the mile high club, both should be very relaxing.

 

American Airlines has more leg room then other airlines, and I've been flying with them more often now. Also they do offer competitive prices due to the fact that they are bankrupt or close to it. American Airlines is :thumbup:

ive flew with united airlines and i like them...
everytime i came late...theyve always been curtious and look for the next flight for me...
even bumped me to their next available flight first class for free..

make sure to check back every now and then until u get the day and time of the flight that u want...

i dont know about the other airports..
but LAX now is more strict than b4..
only boarding passengers are allowed to get to the gates...
and make sure to arrive at least 1 hour b4 the flight...
the line to check in can b pretty long and itll take u awhile to get ur baggage checked...

 

It isn't only LAX. All airports are like that now. Security is strict and plan on arriving early.

i flew outta lax and we had to be dropped off at a parking lot a couple miles away and take a bus to the terminal

Hey, It's Gino from Lancaster, and I fly all the time so i think i can help you out a bit.

If I was in your position, I would go to the southwest airlines website (i think it's www.iflyswa.com) and see what they have available. The only thing is they only fly out of Baltimore, which is actually only, what, 45 mins from you? Southwest is really cheap and gives away yummy peanuts, but they don't service everywhere. Anyway, if you can't get anything with them, go to orbitz.com or expedia.com and check. However, I would try to stay with American or Continental. DO NOT fly usair.

Also, if you fear you might freak out, take some dramamine (motion sickness medicine) about 45 mins to an hour before you get on the plane. It will knock you out for most of the flight. You can try and read, but if you're too anxious, it might not work. You could also not get any sleep the night before and hope that will force you to sleep on the plane, but if you can't sleep on the plane, then you'll be ass-tired and mess up a day of your vacation. Take some cd's and stuff and that should help.
