Default Help me Save $$$!!

i need to save up a decent sum of cash in the run of a year.
im a full time university student that will work 15-20 hours a week during school, id say about average

anyhow i need to keep money and im not the best at saving it, i was thinking i could...

set a limit in my chequing account at like 250 bones and whenever i have a surplus over 250 i put that in my savings account

if i ever take away from my 250 then i replenish what i took out on my next pay check and put the rest in my savings

anyone got anything better?

there is no one way for everyone.

also if you really need to save the money it's simple don't spend any.

don't go out, don't drive to places except school/work. stay home and most importantly eat at home.

best way to save is to not spend h:

and eating at home saves 239043209483294 dollars.... i tried it for 2weeks, and at the end of that i felt like i was a baller :exnbp:

if you can't do it then you can't do it.

it takes a lot of discipline to be able to do it.

you always end up making excuses for spending money on this and that, etc.

i have my savings set to automatically transfer $100 @ the first of the month from my checking. i also don't have access to my checking w/ my atm card or online, so the only way to w/draw is to actually goto the bank which is hard cause i work 8-5 & my bank isn't anywhere near where i work.

so i save by inconvience :lmfao:

I have direct deposit out of every check. That set money goes into an account that has no atm access. I can get the money out , but it is a pain. Therefore, I never take it out! It is an ez way to save and when you don't see it, you never miss it. See if your employer has direct deposit.
