I d/led multimon but still can't get the taskbar accross both screens...dakarm...what do u use to have the logon screen on both displays



long live CRTs.......oh yeah...i use Ati cards...would that matter

the taskbar wont stretch across both screens to my knowlege.

I know with my matrox you CAN get it to streech accross... it basiclly makes the 2 monitors act as one biiiig screen. Don't do that. It sucks. The "middle of the screen" will be split in 2. Looks super ghey.

It's much more pro looking to have them setup for independant and just having seperate screens. Streeching = :ghey:

how is independent setup??
is that what i have currently?
in "independent" im thinking of two toally separate taskbars with the start button on each screen.

independant is only one screen has the task bar. the other screen just has the wallpaper till you move something over there. Much more efficent.

I have matrox card... so it's super easy to setup. Matrox has the best dual head setup of any vid cards, so they really know what they are doing.

Logo will stretch to both screens as will the taskbar. If you use windows management of dual monitors it wont. However, when I used to use NVidias dual monitor management windows was fooled into thinking it just had one huge monitor
