Default should i?

ok...im turning in my resume and cover for the mentoring position i found yesturday. $13 an hour, 16 hours a week. semi-stressful due to the student population imma be working with, 6th-8th graders in a poor neighborhood. ive worked with the program before, its definitly something i can do.

my mom just called me, her friends son needs a private tutor. hes 17, and have been in this country for 5 years. his english isnt all that well. they are also asking me how much i would charge. ive never done any private tutoring nor worked extensivly with someone that old.

should i attempt this private tutor thing? maybe i can meet the guy first and see if i actually can help him. or should i just stick with the mentoring job, which i havent officially gotten yet.

maybe i can do both and start ballin. :rick:

dammit...the multi-quote thingy is broke.

yea, my mom says its only with english. he probably already knows his math. :exnbp:

hes been in the US for 5 years, he better knows at least FOB-lish. i wouldnt be any good if i had to communicate with him with chinese. i lost the language years ago.

$20! thats a lot. im going to meet him first on sunday, then see what level he is on. if i can do some good work with him, im going to ask $15 h: if i cant do much, $10 :exnbp:

maybe i can do both...anyway, im getting way ahead of myself.

do both if you can, i am sure it would only be for a few hours a week. I would charge 20 and that would be a steal since tutors around here can get anywhere from 50-100 an hour
