quick subwoofer question
I'm going to bid on either of these auctions later tonight....which set of subs is better?? I blew one of my 12's this spring and I'd like 2 new ones before school starts again.....but money is tight so which are better?
Audiobahn
or
Infinity
I know there are tons of better subs out there....I'm leaning toward the Infinity's. Oh...and they are for a sealed box and will be getting 300 watts each.....thx

My budget is like $150 - $170....including shipping. The most recent thing I bought for my system was a cap last spring.....everything else is from my old car. The amp is a Profile 600 watt 2-channel amp that I have had for over 3 years....I know it's some no-name brand...I got it off the internet during high school. It was driving 2 kenwood 12's pretty nicely until one blew.
I was at best buy the other day and I was gonna get some rockford fosgate 12 for like $170 but it was out of stock. I figure it would be better to have two of the same subs anyway, and I really don't want to go through the hasle of selling my box and/or working sub...I've already gone through 3 boxes....

apparently it wasn't driving them well enough, you probably ran the amp too hard, causing clipping & eventually a burned out coil.

h: It sounded OK for a year and it finally went this past spring....the other store bought sub is still bumping (3+ years old)Basically...right now I have 1 working sub and 1 disconnected sub in my box....and getting two new ones for cheap would be the quick fix before the end of the month.:happysad:
