The Racecars of Twin Ring Motegi (Sorry 56K'ers)

For lunch, we ate at a USDM School Bus converted to a Cafe!
To kill time in betwen races..we headed out to the HONDA FAN FUN LAB. It was mostly for kids..but they had this cool Honda Driving Simulator. You can chose almost any Honda and it emulates it pefectly (according to the staff). We also met ASIMO!

A lot of companies are out of Tokyo, but the huge commercial companies. Osaka has more of the the grassroots companies.

As far as drag racing....it's pretty much non-existant. It's an American thing.
There's the ever famous DAIKOKU-FUTO in Yokohama. All the racers in the Kanagawa and Kanto (Tokyo) region hang out there on Friday nights. Imagine a HUGE parking lot, i mean HUGE lot full of racers. This is the birthplace of the Wangan and Shutoko Highway battle. People go there to choose who they want to run if they don't wanna drive in circles looking for a good match. Let me tell you...TOKYO XTREME RACER is pretty dead-on. That's exactly what highway battles look like...except..more cars.
