Cerwin Vega or Fosgate?

Now, should I run the amp in stereo and push 250rms to each coil or should I run the coils in parallel and bridge the amp? I'm thinking 250 to each coil would be perfect.

so why not just get a bigger amp and power the vega's like they're supposed to be powered? :dunno:

Id bridge the amp. running the coils is parallel will effectively lower the impedence. Its going to be more stable at 2 ohms.

it bridged at 2ohms, that'll be too much power for the sub, it's supposed to be run at 500rms, so If I run each coil in stereo, that'll be 250rms to each coil which equals 500rms, sounds like the way to go
