"Look what happened in the McCarthy Era"
"It's meant to be funny!"
Now, the first one is the same argument that her liberal "enemies" use all the time. She's very hypocritical. She claims she makes it funny, so people will read it. The real thing is she makes it funny, because she is a horrible writer.
