Sorry to hear man.. even around here, in my quiet little service area, we've had a spike in suicides lately. It's never easy running those calls, especially when it's someone so young.
This past year, we've had a 50 some female OD on 16 Fentanyl patches in a motel room, a 15 year old kid hang himself over summer break, a 17 year old girl shoot herself in the head over a breakup, a middle aged father and husband shoot himself, another middle aged male shoot himself with a shotgun over a drunken argument with his girlfriend, and an elderly male end his life the week of Thanksgiving. Not to mention what I've heard come in over the radio.. people can get creative.
By far the worse were those younger kids. They had so much left to live for, and in a moment of perceived hopelessness and despair, chose a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I cannot imagine what one must go through to get to that point.

i'm really sorry to hear that.
i have dreams about my friend from high school who killed himself and think about him all the time, i wasn't even that close to him. only saw him maybe three times since we had graduated and it kills me.

Sorry Zack. Seems the universe is determined to make you stronger and stronger.
I've recently had to deal with someone in my life threaten to commit suicide. It makes me sad and pisses me off all at the same time.
