Dirtbike:

1. Broke subframe bolt
2. Couldn't get the tube from the airbox back onto the carb...it doesn't fit very well past the spring and subframe.
3. Stuck swingarm bolt....it was rusted in place, took hours of penetrating oil and severe beating with a solid punch and "the persuader" to get it out.

Car:
1. On my old 89 lude, the tire shop crossthreaded a lug...that sucked trying to get it off.
2. Misc broken bolts on my car/friends cars.
3. Forgetting to put on my new throwout bearing when I replaced my clutch and flywheel, cause I was in a hurry to get it finished up.

took oil and car to a mechanic because i didn't have access at the time to a jack and stuff. i come back and just before i pay i notice the mobil1 bottles still closed sitting on their toolbox. I ask, they couldn't explain, they drained the crap they put in and poured in the M1 under my supervision - got a free oil change!

While under my car, changing the timing belt...a piece of flaked oil fell off of the oil pan and fell in my eye. It got swollen, then it shut...then I went to the hospital.....got eyedrops....and it fully healed.....a week later.

doing rear springs on my g2 teg, unbolted damper from LCA, broke the LCA bolt head @ trailing arm (I believe), couldn't get the bolt back through to attach damper so i stuck a thick flathead screwdriver through and drove to tire shop where they cut out the broken bolt and installed rear springs for me.
