We're not here to bust you!" ...everyone stops and all give the same confused dumbass look. 5 minutes later, people were racing the cops, the cops were racing each other (and me without my camera). Then they left and a half hour later the cops came back (same ones or different I don't know) and made everyone leave.

Saw plenty of idiotic things, though never seen an injury. Most of the injuries were to the cars... If people wanna throw away 1-10 grand blowing a rod or snapping an axle, fine by me.
Never raced, just watched.

Not condoning it, I was a teenager then...
It's just interesting how things have changed. What was almost a FUN game of cat and mouse between street racers and cops has turned into something where I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near a *known* street race area.
They'll get 6 cop cars, move all at once, block off all exits ...ticket and/or impound every person/car there. They even have tow trucks with them when they show up.

STAY AWAY FROM STREET DRAGS.
Find a track. There's one in my city where once a week you can go and race the clock or another car under *real* drag conditions... unfortunately (or fortunately IMO) you can't do donuts, chug a beer before you hop in the car, etc.

I saw the "Moved to the Basement" post and was expecting to see harsh comments. When the first three weren't, I knew it was old.

Your avatar trips me out, the first time I saw it, I saw the Giraffe go down but I saw it on my peripheral, so when I looked, it wasn't there, I thought I was tripping out h:

yeah, retard... It's MEET

MEAT is what's for dinner.

Oh, and maybe you know better, but some snot-nosed 16 year old with a hard on for hondas and street racing might come in here and manage to run across this post and get some healthy reading on how to keep his daddy's wheels out of impound.

My ultimate bad. Sheesh.
