nba owners vetoed the trade. its going to be an interesting season.

shane batttier(sp?) committed to the miami heat.
read tyson chandler is going to the knicks maybe.

nba owners don't want it to happen. fucked up, now the hornets won't get anything for him. I posted this in the friday thread. I think Cuban was the loudest in stopping the trade

That trade was clearly a good deal for NO (a VERY good deal), so the idea of not letting it go through for "basketball reasons" is hogwash. Dan Gilbert has just been a hotheaded crybaby since he lost LeBron. I say let teams like the Heat, Knicks, and Lakers spend all their money on 2 or 3 stars and then fill out their rosters with nobodies, they'll still get beat in the big games by teams that play like a Team (a la Dallas Mavs).

reports are pau gasol and lamar odam are devastated over the proposed trade.

Gilbert needs to stop being that bitch. but i do like that the trade isnt happening :X
