Moooooving
Actually, yes. Buffalo is really a unique place and I've enjoyed living here (and in Rochester on the weekends). Everything is really accessible, particularly the arts scene, where egos seem to dictate the way of life in other more trendy cities. Buffalo has a pretty inclusive community feel to it, and I've really enjoyed going to the Albright-Knox (and bumping into old friends and having good discussions to boot), running around in Delaware Park, going to crazy avant garde theater productions (and more mainstream ones), seeing the BPO at least once a year at Kleinhans, eating a Pitaco at Amy's Place (and their delicious iced tea), going to hipster dance parties, exploring places by bike I didn't know existed even after being here for 25 years, helping to clean up an old train station, building a small community park where a crackhouse once stood, marveling at the only phallic city hall in the nation, etc. etc. etc.
Buffalo is really great, I'm going to miss it, and I'm proud to call it home.
