Default auto body vs. auto mechanics

next year and the year after (jr/sr yrs) i will be attending 1/2 day of vocational tech schhol training crap. as i am VERY into cars, ive narrowed my choices to auto body (fix peoples **** ups) and auto mech (silly ricer, youre supposed to take the heating element off the hair drier befor eyou strap it to your intake tube)

which would you choose? i nkow its up to ME, not you, but i want to know what you guys would do in the same situation:rick:

Mechanic. That's why my major is mechanical engineering, I like putting stuff together, learning how stuff works. I know, I'm a nerd h:

But building a motor is fun.

I'm pretty much doing that same thing. I chose autobody collision repair... I've always wanted to learn to paint cars and fix dents and what not... but the more I get into my car the more I wish I would have went to the auto tech side and learned more about go instead of show.

Mechanics hands down.

Its much easier to learn body work as you go but mechanicing (is that a word?:rick: ) takes a bit longer to become second nature.
