actually, while all of those are owned by GM, GMC and Chevy are close to one another.

 

actually GMC & Chevy are different. even thought they have the same powerplants & options, the 2 trucks are built in different plants - many GMC owners can be found to be ex-Chevy owners, the build quality is slightly better; believe it or not.

& as for Acura = Honda, the Acura line actually has very little option packages to choose from than Honda offers. this way Acura can use better quality material/parts & by saving $$$ in production costs, they can offer a reasonable sale price for their vehicles.
