you are basically saying cut and resplice all the wires that are going into the alarm. and splice everything back up so that it looks like how it did before the alarm was put in.

so im just taking the OG phone wires, and connecting them back with their OG colors.

thanks a lot man. what kinda of connects or splicing should i do? i never spliced wire so thin. h:
right...in (1)

blue/white>>>>red & blue>>>>green......cut those

in (2)

blue>>>black & blue/white>>>>yellow.....cut those

now connect the blues together & the blue/whites together & the alarm is no longer hooked in

connectors: goto home depot/lowes & get some similar to the ones you see there. if you can't find anything, strip the wire back about 1/4 inch & twist 'em together & elictrical tape each individually as a temp repair & hit me up & i'll send you some insulated connectors.

DON'T let the blue & blue/white touch or you'll short the line & lose dial-tone!!!
that's why you tape each individually

if you do... call up the telco and have "wire maint" added to your line for like $4.... wait 4 hours and call em back up and tell em you have a wire problem.

Call from neighbors if need be

I don't know what you guys are complaining about DSL...Mines fast, was easy as shit to hook up, didn't interfere with our security system, and never went down.

The only problem now is that my dad wants to change local/long distance phone carriers to MCI...and I have to change to cable. So I have to arrange an appointment for the cable guy to come wire my house for cable and install a jack in my room. A lot more of a PITA than DSL fa sho!
