its called the archaeological institute of america (AIA). they have a website, publish a book on job oppotunities every year (coupled with the ones on their website), and they have a magazine. they've got job placements such as teaching at colleges, field schools for college students, digs that companies need for whatever reason, etc.

i'm getting it in archaeology, so then i am automatically qualified to teach that subject in a colllege. i'm getting my bachelors at pennstate (hopefully), then maybe i'll upgrade to an ivy leage school for the masters and PhD.
