I always square my corners. There's an intersection by my office that I take every morning on my way into work that I turn left from a one-way onto a two-way. I've often seen people cut this corner so badly that they actually jump the curb on the oncoming traffic side! It's just nuts. There's near-accidents at this intersection all the time as the turning cars think they have the right to plow into the lane of traffic that is coming to a stop at the stop sign.

I square always.

I also pull right up to the line and the stop line when in a left turn lane. Its fun when other people aren't paying attention and freak out when they are turning.

That's when I wish I had a crappy old lifted truck with I-beams for bumpers.

Almost always square. It pisses me off when I'm in that two-way traffic lane and the guy turns left into my road and they are like a few feet from my car.

It is, but it's literally what people do. They get confused because it's a turn left from a one-way onto a two-way, and I think a lot of people assume they are turning onto another one way. But I've seen people literally hit the curb on the oncoming traffic side because they cut the corner too close.

I'd say about 70% of NY drivers round their corners like a bunch of assholes.

The same amount run red lights. Oof.
