i'm getting pretty frustrated with my housemates' lack of doing anything...

i share a huge house with 7 other people, specifically the 3rd floor with my best friend and his girlfriend. they both work 8-5, but then they just come home, sit around, eat really unhealthy food, then smoke trees and lie in bed until they fall asleep. this is every night. they get no exercise at all, both are getting more and more overweight each day.

i'm just frustrated. i run, play soccer, eat healthy and still allow for partying. i don't sit around all night and eat. he thinks there's nothing wrong with it, even when he's visibly out of breath from the slightest physical activity.

i've been ignoring this, just letting them do as they please, but lately, their lack of socializing with me because they smoke in their room and then just eat and watch tv is starting to piss me off.

ok the rant is done. and something inside wants me to have him read this website while at work tomorrow to see this.

what should i do? opinions/criticism/whatever, all welcome.

It's good that you're not adapting their ways. :ugh: Just hope you set a good example man.

 

Aleast they don't bring home club whore's like my flatmate.

 

it seems like i always try to make it obvious that i'm active, my room's clean, etc...

 

i own a house with steph and her dad stays with us right now. saturday morning his **** buddy was going through my pants on the bedroom floor of my room. looking to rip me off i bet, as days wear on i get more and more mad about it. i should have kicked her ass.

 

As long as they are holding up to their chores, etc, I don't think you have any say on how they live thier lives.

 

Its their lives, their bodies, their braincells..


As long as they're doing their part to keeping the place clean... paying rent... and being nice around you... then let them degrade into obesity..
