Just sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.

Actually, the NHTSA has been trying to ban HID kits forever. Car headlamps which are designed for halogen bulbs simply aren't equipped to properly direct the light from HIDs.


Which is why they're fucking blindingly bright to other drivers on the road. :squint:

 

Of course, I take the info with a grain of salt...but...

1. The guy tanked his prices $70...no reason to do so other than to get rid of the stuff he has.

2. When asked where info came from he said they received a "cease and desist" letter from NHTSA and that other people like K2 received the same. And he expects more and more vendors to get it.

Instead of continuing the post here, just get in on the ground floor since the mods here are AMAZINGLY touchy. Watch this get closed cause I posted a link. In response to the thread I started being closed...I had no intention of "advertising" for the guy. I was just trying to spread the info...christ. I didn't even buy my HIDs from this guy.....taking out the link would have sufficed.

And civic...my name has nothing to do with my being a "tricky" person...though I can see how you would have drawn that conclusion. I have been on these forums for a while, without once tricking anyone hehe.
